I firmly believe that Sundays should be reserved for catching up on books, flicking through magazines and reconnecting with your creative outlets. During the week life can get clouded with work, so slowing things down is important.
On the weekends, I tend to spend longer in bed, and that’s easy to do when you’re wrapped up in CULTIVER bedding. I remember finding out about this company over a year ago and knew one day I needed to add these to my life. Their materials are thoughtfully sourced and carefully selected with premium quality and style in mind. The linen is carefully woven and stonewashed for softness.
After living with these sheets for over a week, it would be hard to go back to something else, and I am already considering these beautiful white sheets come Spring or Summertime.
Over the next few months, we’re planning on doing some renovations to our bedroom which will include a new carpet and molding on the walls. Once that is completed we can finally put up our bedframe and purchase our bedside tables. Then I can give you a complete bedroom tour with the white duvet set I hope to buy.
So, slowing things down on the weekend, specifically on Sunday is something that I value and strive to uphold. If you have placed that book you were meant to read to one side, dust off the cobwebs and spend some extra time in bed catching up. One tip to maximise your creativity is putting your phone out of reach, that way you can enjoy some uninterrupted time. I love flicking through my Milk and Honey poetry book, and I also found a few more books that I’d like to add to my Sunday morning inspiration pile; this Vogue and this India Hicks book.
