Living in Canada gives you an option to travel to places you wouldn’t normally have access to living in London. When it came close to wrapping on a project at work, my boyfriend and I started looking for places to go that were accessible. Although we initially wanted to go to Hawaii, it was just way too expensive and difficult to book. So, we decided to follow the rest of the east coast and take a trip to Mexico!
The only options we were faced with each day was if we wanted to go to the pool or beach, and which restaurant to eat at. This isn’t my usual holiday, I am normally planning, organizing and moving around a lot. When I travelled to Cuba a year before, I visited 4 different locations, with no internet to navigate and speaking broken Spanish to get around. Although Cuba is an absolute must, and I’m so happy I went, I felt like during my stay in Cuba I was always on edge, or worried about how we would get from A to B. Having a holiday in Mexico where it was 100% relaxation was important to me. If you’re ever wanting a relaxed holiday then I would recommend Mexico.
