Introducing a Guide to Bedding

I don’t know about you but comfortable bedding is something I don’t mind spending a bit more on. I got my first job at 13 years old, and was so excited to start working at one of the most famous chocolate shops in England. We were allowed to taste the new chocolates every time a new collection came in. Do you know how amazing that is for a chocoholic? Pretty good! The point is actually about bedding, because with my hard earned cash I was able to save up enough to buy pink, silk, sequin bedding from a store. I had wanted it for so long and it felt like an amazing moment to finally buy it. Who knew, the very moment, is what I would look back on in years to come. Bringing me back to my first point, I don’t mind paying a bit more than Primark/IKEA prices on bedding (even though, their stuff does look cute

I’ve divided some of my bedding recommendations by price with splurge vs steal. With the splurge suggestions, you can always sign up to their newsletters and keep an eye out for their sales!

Parachute’s etos is to ‘not only offer the best sheets on the market, but to also inspire a community around sleep, wellness and creating a comfortable home’. Living in Canada has made me want to make my living space comfortable and homely in every way. Parachute also provides a 60 night trial on all bedding, so if you’re unhappy with your purchase you can return or exchange. I recently bought these, but hope to buy the matching quilt once it’s back in stock.

What I love about Cultiver is you can shop looks and add them directly to your basket. Their shipping across USA and Canada is also free, so that’s a big plus if you’re living in Canada like me. The majority of us can only look in awe, but I thought I would share since it’s so lovely.

I remember when I lived in London, Muji was so close to my Apartment. I used to buy my art supplies there, as well as make up bags and loungewear. I was happy with their quality and decided to treat myself to their bedding. This was the first bedding I bought that wasn’t from IKEA or Primark. Their jersey duvet was unlike anything I’d had before and I’d still give it 5/5!

    Urban Outfitters

UO’s home department is always on trend and nods to mid-century modern design. They provide funkier bedding options but also have some really great basics like this or this.
