Ways To Reset This Spring

Time to get out those daffodils and dusters! Spring time is here. Spring always makes me feel like pressing the reset button. This Spring is particularly exciting for me because not only have I finally launched my blog, but I have also decided to bite the bullet and start up my Youtube channel. It’s something I have wanted to do for such a long time but never had the courage to do until now. I was and have always been afraid of what people think of me, but I realize now, it’s better to be yourself than to hide who you are. Spring for me is all about starting anew, removing negativity, replacing drab clothes, unhealthy foods / habits and bringing in the light.

Remove clutter from your wardrobe, storage and general living space.

Swap out junk food and unhealthy snacks for fresh foods and healthy treats. Eating healthier will improve your mood and energy levels leaving you feeling more awake and refreshed.

Plants and flowers in the house have been proven to improve your mood, sleep, health, creativity and so much more. Flowers in general can be great mood enhancers and can have an immediate impact on your happiness, so swing by your local Home Depot and invest in some greenery.

Say goodbye to old beauty products.
Expired products could be effecting your skin and this is overlooked by so many of us.
Replace your Mascara every 3-4 months.
Eyeliner and Eye Shadow every 6-12 months.
Lipstick every 12 – 18 months.
Foundation, Powder, and other facial makeup eveary 12 months.

You could either be totally lazy and hire a cleaner to do one big cleaning job – you might want to consider this if you have housemates, or roll up your sleeves and get down to business. Make sure you use the right products for the object / area you’re cleaning.

Re-vamp your living area
I recently purchased new bedding and I’m planning on picking up more plants this week. I was totally inspired by The Sorry Girls and their DIY / Update bedroom tutorial here.
